Oberyn Martell's Spear

I made this Oberyn Martell's Spear using Worbla and foam. I also made polyester fabric piping to make the "snake skin".

After getting a good look at Oberyn's spear I decided I had to make my own. I loved everything about it, the snake design, the unconventional blade shape, the snake skin.

The "snake skin" was made from piping of a patterned polyester. The colour was not an exact match but it was pretty close and I'm quite happy with it.

The end of blade was foam spray whilst the lower portion was Plastimake. Both took on the spray paint differently causing a slight discrepancy.

I cut the dowel so that the spear would be the same length in proportion to me as Oberyn's is to him.
