I was a big fan of Michelle Clapton's design for Joffrey's wedding suit so I decided to go as Dead-Joffrey for Supanova.
Pattern used was for a medieval tunic, which we modified to suit our needs. The belt is actually two belts linked together to achieve the desired length.
The gold was a silk with floral brocade that we were able to get cheaply because there wasn't much left.
The sash was a gorgeous velvet with great handle and lustre.
The gold clasps were bought at the local fabric shop but were actually a pretty good match.
The makeup was rehearsed the night before. Off green foundation, lipstick for the blood, fine red pen for the plethoric veins, eye shadow for the darkened skin.
Extensive searching was done on eBay to find three rings that matched Joffrey's. The blue contact lenses were purchased at Supanova.
